Future Challenges in Education and ICT: Policy, Planning, and Practice is an international seminar jointly coordinated by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the Council of Ministers of Education, Canada (CMEC).

The seminar brought together high-level policy-makers and experts in information and communications technology (ICT) and education from Canada and other OECD countries to share effective practices and recent research.

The seminar was held in Montreal, Quebec, from April 28-30, 2002 at the Crowne Plaza Montreal Centre Hotel in downtown Montreal, and was followed by the 2002 Pan-Canadian Education Research Agenda (PCERA) Symposium, April 30-May 2, 2002.
