PCERA
2002 The focus of the fourth PCERA Symposium, held in Montreal, April 30 to May 2, 2002, was "Information Technology and Learning," a topic of interest for all education stakeholders who have been witness to the transforming effects of information technology on education in Canada. Participant discussion was a notable feature of this symposium, and participants had the opportunity to share their ideas, comments, and questions during plenary and small group discussions.

The symposium took place immediately following an international seminar organized jointly by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the Council of Ministers of Education, Canada (CMEC), "Future Challenges in Education and ICT: Policy Planning and Practice" CMECOECDCanada Seminar, April 28-30, 2002. |
